El artículo se propone abordar una de las obras más importantes llevadas a cabo por la Municipalidad de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires durante la última dictadura militar (1976-1983): el Parque de Diversiones emplazado en Villa Soldati, al sur de la ciudad. El trabajo realiza una aproximación inicial al proceso de realización del parque, resaltando algunos aspectos de esta iniciativa que dan cuenta del accionar del Estado local y de las ideas sobre la ciudad y sus habitantes que presentaba la municipalidad en ese marco histórico.
The paper proposes to address one of the most important works carried out by the Municipality of the City of Buenos Aires during the last military dictatorship (1976-1983): the Amusement Park at Villa Soldati, in the south of the city. The article makes an initial approximation to the construction process of the park, highlighting some aspects of this initiative that account for both the actions of the local State and the ideas about the city and its inhabitants displayed by the municipality in this historical context.
