La historia del tiempo presente. Breve revisión a la disciplina del estudio histórico de las dinámicas de la sociedad actual.

La Historia del Tiempo Presente, recibió un impulso al ser institucionalizada desde 1978 por el Instituto de la Historia del Tiempo Presente francés, catapultándola como una disciplina histórica llamada a satisfacer las necesidades de intelectuales y público masivo por un análisis desde un punto de vista histórico, las dinámicas sociales actuales o recientes.A través de este artículo, se intenta dar cuenta de los cuestionamientos y defensas a las que ha estado expuesta este área historiográfica, tomando en consideración siete puntos referenciales: el impacto de cercanía cronológica en la objetividad de estudio; la creciente demanda social por entender el presente desde la historia; controversias metodológicas hacia las fuentes utilizadas; el establecimiento del momento histórico en su campo; la correlación entre acontecimiento e Historia del Tiempo Presente; la empleabilidad de documentos de la dictadura y la dictaduracomo temática de estudio en la Historia del Tiempo Presente.AbstractThe history of present time started to increase when it was institutionalized in 1978by the Institute of the French Present Time History. Then it became a historical discipline aimed to satisfy the needs of intellectuals and of the general audience through a historical analysis of the current or recent social dynamics.This article aims to show the questionings and defenses to which this historiographical area has been exposed to, taking into account seven referential points: the impact of chronological closeness in the study objectivity, the growing social demand to understand the present from History, methodological controversies about the sources used, establishing the historical moment on its field, the correlation between the event and Present Time History,  the use of documents from the military dictatorship and the military dictatorship as a study topic in the History of Present Time.Key WordsHistory of Present time, Military Dictatorship, History Methodology, History Theory.
