Professional intervention in neoliberal capitalism: revisiting the rights approach from critical theories of the South

En esta exposición buscaré problematizar cuatro nudos críticos: las nociones de intervención profesional, teoría, derechos y pensamiento situado. Ofreciendo algunas reflexiones en torno a estas cuatro categorías, la propuesta es ensayar cruces entre las mismas en pos de pensar un Trabajo Social situado y crítico que aporte respuestas a los desafíos que el giro a la derecha y el orden neoliberal imponen a nuestro ejercicio profesional.

In this text I will seek to problematize four critical knots: the notions of professionalintervention, theory, rights and situated thinking. Offering some reflections on thesefour categories, the proposal is to test crosses between themselves to think ofsituated and critical Social Work that gives answers to the challenges that the turn tothe right and the neoliberal order impose on our exercise professional.
