En este trabajo propongo una interrogación sobre el impacto de la obra de Tulio Halperin Donghi sobre la historiografía latinoamericanista. Incursiono en los los siguientes temas que delinean esa interrogación: ¿Cómo se produjo la aproximación de Tulio Halperin Donghi a la historia latinoamericana y cuáles fueron sus características como latinoamericanista? ¿Cuáles fueron sus aportes principales en el campo de la historia latinoamericana? ¿Cómo fueron recibidas sus principales propuestas en el campo de la historia latinoamericana?

In this work I intend to ponder the impact of Tulio Halperin Donghi on Latin American historiography. I venture into the following topics that delineate my queries: How did Tulio Halperin Donghi become a historian of Latin America and what were his main features as a Latin-American historian? What were his major contributions in the field of Latin American history? How were his major contributions to Latin American historiography received by the practitioners of this field of history?
