The University Reform on the Eve of its Centenary: A Historiographical Approach

El propósito de esta nota consiste en llevar a cabo un primer balance del estado de la investigación en torno al movimiento reformista de 1918 en un período que va desde las primeras interpretaciones contemporáneas al acontecimiento hasta las nuevas aproximaciones desarrolladas en particular desde los años 90. El texto incluye una serie de observaciones en torno al limitado espacio que estas producciones han otorgado sobre todo a la dimensión específicamente universitaria de la Reforma.

The purpose of this paper is to undertake an initial assessment of the state of research around the reformist movement of 1918 in a period that goes from the first contemporary interpretations of the event to the new approaches developed in particular since the 90s. The text includes a series of observations about the limited space that these approaches have given to the scholar facet in opposition to the wide attention given to the political facet.
