RESEARCH AND UNIVERSITY EXTENSION PROGRAMS. THOUGHTS ABOUT ANTHROPOLOGICAL WORK;
INVESTIGACIÓN Y EXTENSIÓN UNIVERSITARIA. REFLEXIONES EN TORNO AL QUEHACER ANTROPOLÓGICO EN COMUNIDADES INDÍGENAS URBANAS.

In order to approach the epistemological, ethical, and political grounds of anthropological work, we will focus on research activity, university extension programs and the transfer of knowledge, analyzing the way in which the three coarticulate with one another. Our main concern would be to understand how to work with those people who had historically been assumed as mere ‘informants’. This way, we look for a transformation in the relationship us scientist built with these people, and more importantly, in the kind of knowledge we produce together, which is not only theoretical, but also practical.

En este artículo nos proponemos reflexionar sobre las implicancias epistemológicas, éticas y políticas del trabajo antropológico. Para ello nos concentraremos en las tareas de investigación, extensión universitaria y transferencia, analizando la manera en que se articulan, y su influencia en el proceso de producción de conocimiento en relación con lxs sujetxs que interactúan (es decir, “investigadorxs” e “investigadxs”). Para pensar estas cuestiones nos apoyaremos en nuestro trabajo de extensión universitaria en el marco de convocatorias UBANEX, y en conjunto con las Universidades de Luján (UNLu) y Avellaneda (UNDAV).
