Uso de los sistemas de información documental en la educación superior: estado del arte;
Use of the Documental Information Systems in Higher Education: State of the Art

Considerando que los Sistemas de Información Documental (SID) cumplen un papel mediador en los procesos de enseñanza y de aprendizaje en la educación superior, se presenta el estado del arte que da cuenta de la necesidad de abordar este tema a partir de la relación entre la didáctica y la bibliotecología, para encontrar fuentes bibliográficas que permitan sustentar teóricamente una estrategia didáctica para enseñar a usar los SID a los profesores, y así estos los utilicen y puedan enseñar datos e información generando conocimiento, superando la memorización y repetición en los estudiantes.A partir de un enfoque hermenéutico que posibilita mostrar el avance y las tendencias del tema en diferentes países, se acude al proceso de búsqueda, recuperación, selección y evaluación de los documentos disponibles en bases de datos, bibliotecas, sitios Web, buscadores y repositorios, etc. Con  los documentos seleccionados, se realiza el análisis, comprensión, interpretación y una posterior síntesis, que se presenta en este artículo, de manera concreta resaltando la metodología empleada y los resultados obtenidos; pues se comprueba que los SID con la connotación que se le da en este escrito, apenas comienzan a ser tratados como medios y espacio didáctico, ya que en gran parte al aludir al uso de la información, se centran en las Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación –TIC– con énfasis en Internet y los buscadores.

Taking into account that the Documental Information Systems (DIS) have a role of mediator in the teaching and learning processes in higher education, a state of the art that shows the need to talk about this topic is presented here starting from the relation between the didactics and the library science in order to find bibliographic sources that allow to theoretically support an strategy to teach professors how to use the DIS, so that they can effectively use them and teach data and information, generating knowledge and overcoming memorization and repetition in students.From a hermeneutical approach that allows to show the progress and tendencies about this topic in different countries, the process of searching, recovery, selection and evaluation of the documents available in database, libraries, websites, search engines, and repositories, among others is used. The analysis, understanding, interpretation, and a further synthesis is carried out with the selected documents. That is presented in this article in a concrete way, highlighting the methodology applied and the results acquired. It is verified that the DIS –with the connotation given in this paper– have just begun to be taken as a medium and as a didactical space, because they suggest the use of information and are focused on the Information and Communication Technologies –ICT– with emphasis on the Internet and search engines.
