En la Argentina nacen 5.000 niños con cardiopatíascongénitas por año. El 70% de ellos requieren intervencionesquirúrgicas antes del año de vida. El 1% de estoscasos está representado por la anormalidad en la formaciónde los ventrículos denominada “ventrículo único”.
In Argentina, 5000 children with congenital heart defectsare born each year; 70% of whom require surgerybefore the first year of life. The abnormal ventricularformation known as “single ventricle”,accounts for1% of these cases
