Seperti telah dikabarkan beberapa waktu yang lalu, sebanyak 3.600 unit perangkat smartphone yang berasal dari Chine telah dicuri di bandara Internasional JFK, New York , Amerika Serikat. Perangkat besutan Apple tersebut akan direncanakan akan di sebar ke beberapa toko retail di New York, yang sebelumnya sempat mengalami penundaan akibat terjadinya badai Sandy.
Pihak penyelidik dari FBI telah melakukan berbagai cara dalam melakukan penyelidikan tersebut yang pada akhirnya membuahkan hasil. Diketahui Renel Rene Richardson adalah otak dari pencurian perangkat smartphone sebanyak 3.600 unit tersebut dengan nilai total sekitar USD 1,5 juta. Dan ternyata dugaan pihak penyidik sebelumnya memang benar terjadi, pihak penyidik yang sebelumnya memperkirakan adanya campur tangan orang dalam pada kasus pencurian ini ternyata bukan hanya dugaan semata. Diketahui Rene Richardson adalah salah satu karyawan yang bekerja di bandara Internasional JFK, Amerika Serikat.
Awal terungkapnya Rene sebagai pelaku utama ketika ia menanyakan kepada rekan kerjanya untuk menggunakan jasa pengiriman dan pengangkutan barang dalam jumlah banyak. Dan pada saat operasi pencurian tersebut Rene tidak sendirian melainkan Rene juga dibantu oleh dua rekan lainnya. menggunakan forklift untuk mengangkut dan memuat dua buah palet ponsel ke dalam truk yang sudah dipersiapkan sebelumnya.
Kini pihak detektif Port Authority memimpin penyelidikan lebih lanjut dan melakukan penyisiran di sepanjang kawasan Long Island, New York, guna mencari truk yang disinyalir mengangkut 3.600 unti perangkat handphone tersebut.

En el presente artículo se procede a una relectura de la confluencia actual de diversos campos de estudio: la Nueva Historia de la Cultura, la Historia del Libro y de las Bibliotecas, la Bibliografía, la Historia de la Lectura, entre otras especialidades relacionadas con el universo de la cultura impresa. Las reflexiones que suscita este fenómeno se articulan desde una disciplina en particular, la Bibliotecología / Ciencia de la Información. El trabajo se desarrolla en dos partes diferentes pero fuertemente vinculadas: el «Encuentro entre la Historia del Libro y la Historia de la Lectura», y un conjunto de «Reflexiones sobre la Nueva Historia del Libro y de las Bibliotecas».
In this article a re-reading of the present convergence of several fields of study: The New History of Culture; the History of Book and the Libraries; the Bibliography; the History of Reading, among other areas related to the universe of printed culture. Reflections derived from that phenomenon are articulated from a particular discipline: Library and Information Science. The work is developed in two different parts that are strongly related: The «Meeting between the History of Book and the History of Reading», and a set of «Reflections on the New History of Book and of the Libraries»
